Jessica Orris a self‑taught fibre artist living in theMallee region — which is the undeniable influence for this recent macramé piece; a personal representation of the towering river red gums, steep rocky cliffs and curious native species within the region. These intuitive memories and milestones have been tied together with 850 metres of various natural fibres, using ancient macramé techniques.
