Justine Muller, Custodians of the Darling Barka

The pressed tin is recycled from Wilcannia, and is the same tin used to build humpies when the Barkandji lived along the banks of the Darling Barka.

The artist acknowledges that these artworks were made in collaboration with the Barkandji community and under the guidance of Uncle Badger Bates.

Stop floodplain harvesting and let the rivers fun free, and if we don't, Mother Nature will not forgive us.
