Wings/Wishes for Birds

This multi‑panel work was created during a workshop in Mildura. Its format was inspired by the tradition found in many countries of making ex-voto panels. Such panels are placed in public places, as signs or offerings of gratitude or devotion. In this case, small birds found in the Mildura region have been depicted.

Displayed all together, the work expresses the appreciation and hopes of the Mildura community for their precious local birds.
