444 Foundation
Mildura has had a long history of community fundraising for significant community facilities. When Mildura’s first theatre was built in 1966 the fundraising effort was an essential component of ensuring that Mildura’s theatre was the envy of regional Australia.
In that same Mildura tradition of community support the Arts & Culture Board wants to ensure that our new theatre will be the best it possibly can be and aims to enhance the new theatre that is rising out of the ground on this historic site.
The 444 Foundation campaign will use a tried and true proposition to sell the 444 fixed seats in the new auditorium. For a tax deductible donation of $1,000 donors names will be inscribed on a prominent foundation wall in the new theatre.
